As a photographer, I get to meet a number of people I wouldn't normally meet, and every time I meet a new family, I'm astounded by how willing they are to welcome me into their home and their life... this family was no exception. When Jeff & I moved back to MN about a year ago, we committed to meeting new people. One thing we learned in Colorado was that surrounding yourself with good people that add to your life can really create a new sense of "home." We wanted to find that "home" here as well. Because of that commitment, Jeff decided to get back into baseball and joined our local town team, the Maple Plain Diamond Devils. This team plays approximately 30 games in a season, so we spent many Sunday afternoons (and some Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays) at the ball field this summer. When you spend that much time at the field, the other individuals on the team, and their supporters in the stand become close friends... hopefully life-long friends. Why am I sharing this? Because this family was referred to me from Justin & Allie. How do they know each other? From the ball field. These two families have spent many Sunday afternoons themselves cheering on their team and have now become life-long friends. And now, they are watching each other's family grow and change together. Eric & Emily, I honestly can't thank you enough. I LOVED spending the morning with you and feel so very honored that you chose me to capture this special time in your life.
