A couple weekends ago, I had the pleasure of heading down to Chanhassen to play with an adorable family. It was my first official shoot with my brand new Canon 5D Mark ii. Wow... is that an amazing camera!?! I was so hesitant to purchase it at first - it's a pretty large investment. It would be investing in myself, in this business. It would be saying that I believe my photography is worth such a large price tag. That one was hard for me. In the end, with a little coaxing from my very amazing husband, I took the leap, and I couldn't be more happy. The image quality is ah-mazing. I'm loving it, and I couldn't have asked for a better first shoot with that new camera. Honestly... how I get to shoot such adorable kids and such beautiful families, I have yet to figure out. For now, I'm just very thankful! ;) Justin & Allie... thank you for welcoming me into your home and your lives... I honestly fell in love with all of you (Oscar included) and hope that you'll let me come back for another visit in the future!
