Good friendships are hard to come by, and I've been blessed in my life to have a few really great friendships. Julie is one of those people in my life. I've known Julie for almost as long as I can remember and the memories that float in my head as I think of her probably aren't interesting to anyone but us. She has been there for so many life events and has been a constant support when I just needed an ear to listen. Even through our time in Denver, I was able to continue to foster a strong relationship with her that bridged over a thousand miles. She has embarked on a new phase of her life, raising a family. A few years ago, I was honored to stand by her as she married Josh, and now, I get to watch her transform into an amazing mother of a beautiful boy, and soon-to-be little girl (due in the Spring). Add to all this, she has also become one of my biggest supporters on this journey because it is a journey she took just a year ago.
Julie is an extremely talented photographer and her work inspires me every time I see it. A couple weekends ago, I was honored (truly) to be able to take her family photos. I could spend an hour going on and on and on about what an amazing mother she is, but I think the photos tell the story of the love this family has. Good friendships are hard to come by indeed, and I've got one of the best with this woman.
