Urban Baby...

This photography journey has been a whirlwind so far. I often pinch myself and wonder just how I got here. This last weekend was no exception. Mark and Laura drove up from Nebraska for a getaway and wanted to fit a photo session in. Wow, what fun we had! They were such good sports and were really up for anything... even when I asked them to walk with me behind an abandoned building to take photos... now that's trust! I've had this shoot in my mind for quite a while. I love the idea of something as beautiful and natural as a pregnant woman with the stark contrast of an urban background... and they were game! I can't wait to see them again and, hopefully, get to take some pics of their new addition once she arrives. ;)

Breathtakingly Beautiful...

I recently had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with the gorgeous Emily. She is due with her first baby in just a few short weeks and I was so happy to get to spend some time roaming around capturing some photos of her beautiful belly. She was such a good sport and ended up climbing over and through things that I'm pretty sure most pregnant women wouldn't be up for! Thank you Emily for letting me document this time in your life! I can't wait to meet the new little one!
