One of my favorite parts of summer is when everything turns green and flowers bloom. Life seems so fresh and untainted during these months. For me, I'm reminded of the beauty of simplicity. I'm reminded that I don't need a fancy location or a big park. While those things are always a fun option (and I LOVE shooting them), I'm honored when a client invites me into their home for a shoot. Whether it's a backyard game of baseball (as seen in a previous post), or a garden that has been tended by Grandma's hands (as seen in this post), I'm struck by the stories these pictures can tell by being shot at such meaningful locations.
Recently, I visited sweet Isabel at her Grandma's house. You may remember her from her newborn shoot... and the second post of her newborn shoot - just because I had so many to share! She is 6 months old now and couldn't be any cuter!! This shoot made me so very excited for her one-year session - Izzy's mom and dad took advantage of the "Pick Three" package. Izzy was a dream during this session and I'm truly honored to have spent the morning with such a great family! Thank you for letting me into your lives and I can't wait to see Izzy as she grows!
