Smitten...

I have a 19-month-old nephew named Connor. He is one of the cutest kids I know and is so darn entertaining. I babysat him the other morning and spent 2 hours straight laughing at him. We raked leaves, went for a walk, played with the wagon, had a snack, did somersaults, went for another walk, played in the leaves some more, and even played in a fort made by two dining room chairs and a blanket. All in 2 hours. It's amazing the things you can accomplish in 2 hours when you're 19 months old! Why am I telling you this? Because it's the BEST birth control ever! I'm alway so exhausted after spending those couple hours with him that I can't imagine how you amazing parents do it!

And then, the next day, I had the pleasure of tagging along with my good friend Julie of Cider Press Studios on a shoot for the most adorable 3 month old. Peyton was so sweet and her mom had her dressed to the nines. This little girl is going to be a heartbreaker in about 15 years... lookout boys! Seeing the sweet chubby cheeks and BIG blue eyes made my heart melt and made me wish I had one of those cute little baby things to cuddle with. :) NOT good birth control. Thank goodness my nephew is just a phone call away and I can remind myself that those adorable little balls of chub turn into BUSY, BUSY little children, which I know I don't have the energy for right now. So, instead, I will continue to fill my time with other people's adorable children... how very blessed I am!! So... here's Peyton!
