A New Beginning...

Try to keep your soul young and quivering, right up to old age, and to imagine right up to the brink of death that life is only beginning. I think that is the only way to keep addings to one's talent, and one's inner happiness.
--George Sand
I recently came across this quote and it struck me. I have come to the realization that transition is hard, no matter how familiar it may be. But what transition often brings is a new beginning, sometimes without us even knowing it. This is one of those opportunities for me. An opportunity for me to keep my soul young, to imagine that life is only beginning, to keep adding to my talent, and to my inner happiness. This, too, is a journey. A journey that will likely bring many more new beginnings...all of which I'm looking forward to.
I attended an amazing photography workshop last weekend, MeRa Koh is a nationally recognized photographer that is based in the Seattle area. She came to Minneapolis to do a Confidence Workshop for 16 women. To say that it was inspiring would be an understatement. She gave me so much more than technical knowledge, she gave me a vision for my photograpy. She also gave me the confidence to start this blog and to jump in head first. Over the next couple days, I will post some of my images from her Workshop. Please, I'd welcome any feedback! And, if you like what you see, please pass my blog on! If you're interested in getting some Christmas Card photos taken, send me an email at: leahpphotography@gmail.com and I will send you a pricing sheet. I'm excited to start this journey...with you.
